UploadScreenshot Application in Xubuntu

Locate the downloaded zip file

Move the zip file to where you want to 'install' the application. I put it in my home directory.

Extract the zip to get a ScreenCapture folder.

Look inside the folder and you will find a jar file and a python file. Remember the path to this folder.

Open up your settings.

Modify your keyboard.

Go to the Application Shortcuts and click Add.

You should get the following dialogue. Click open.

Navigate to the ScreenCapture folder you unzipped.

View 'All Files' to see the jar file.

Select it and you should get the following dialogue.

Add java -jar to prefix the command so as to run the jar file.

Assign it to a key and you should be able to see the command as shown below.

Congratulations you are done. Now all you have to do is press your print screen button and you will have a link to the image in your clipboard. Just paste and there is a link to your image. Demonstrated below.
